John T. O'Donnell, Founder
Mr. O'Donnell founded Makrod Investment Associates in 1974 and served as president until his death in 2021. He held a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and a Masters of Science from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn New York. He was also a member of the Economics Club of New York.
Kathryn R. O'Donnell, President
Ms. O'Donnell holds a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College, Columbia University and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University Law School. She is admitted to the bar in New York and New Jersey. Prior to her employment at Makrod Ms. O'Donnell worked for Moody's Investors Service, a leading bond rating agency based in New York. She is a member of the Economics Club of New York, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and the Investment Adviser Association. She served on the Board of The Masterwork Chorus and previously served on the Endowment Committee of the Museum of Modern Art and chaired the Young Patrons Group of the International Center of Photography.

Benedict A. Schlatter, Vice President

Born in London, Mr. Schlatter was educated in Hong Kong and Tokyo before moving to the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College and a Masters of Science in Management from L'École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC Paris). He has close to twenty years of experience in the financial services industry, including private banking experience in Switzerland and six years working in Emerging Markets at Lehman Brothers. Prior to joining Makrod he worked for Deutsche Bank for six years on Wall Street.
